The plant extracts usually constitute of various types of bioactive compounds or phytochemicals with different properties. Identification and characterization of these phytochemical constituents remains a big challenge and require expensive and wide range of techniques before determination of their biological activity. The Pre-conference workshop plans to provide knowledge to the participants on the methodology employed in the Nutraceutical research such as chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques from renowned experts in the field. In addition, various formulation methods for delivery of nutraceuticals would also be discussed.
